@ Mick, Heres the problem with the UIA. They want to be recognized as the Ultimate NON-FOR-PROFIT Organization out to help inventors. If thats the case why did they not publish all the info that happened between inventor inventor Steven Brown and AbsolutleyNew the invention submission company.

Bill Freund is the VP Marketing/Business Development for AbsolutleyNew. He was also a UIA board member at the time when all this crap went on. Then Reyland makes stupid comments “AbsolutelyNew is no longer with the UIA and as is customary with the UIA, we don’t comment on non-UIA members".

Why in the world should anyone TRUST this organization after that STUPID comment. Does this look like an organization that can be trusted.....heck no its BS. This reminds me of all the clowns in the White House. When one of them get caught with there pants down its swept under the rug. That's what happened in Browns situation.

Lets look at who else from AbsolutleyNew is sitting in the drivers seat. Oh look its John Dudas the former USPTO Director. Does anyone see the clear conflict of interest with Dudas?


Then Bonnie Kaake the former UIA Executive Director makes the statement below that the past UIA Director Patrick Raymond was on the $$$$$ take from AbNew. Why wasn't that info publically anounced when it happened? Actually when Reyland took over Raymond was put into the UIA position as treasurer. Know someone else is the treasurer,,,what happened to Patrick? Did he get caught with his hand in the cookie jar like Bonnie indicated with AbNew?

Why should anyone trust the UIA? Reyland claims to be a successful product developer with many products in retail. He has been questioned many many times to prove his claims and never has. He wants to whoever questions him to call him on the phone to discuss his many products in retail. Then the BS starts coming out of his mouth. The problem is the person he talked to researches the info he gave them without any success. Then Reyland gets questioned again about his products,that's when he starts calling the person a STALKER.

The big question here is why didn't the UIA investigate Reyland's successful claims before they tossed inventors to the dogs.. If you go to the UIA board members listed some of there Board seat term dates have ran out. President Warren Tuttle's term ran out in 2011. Steve Greenburgs ran out in 2011 also. Whats up with that.

I have to ask you, do you post unprotected products on websites ?

The reason I ask is because I found the website that lists your successful selling products on retail markets, and none protected. { I think } Here it is :

Obvious Ideas LLC is your successful marketing and licensing company. Yet I see 4 products and cant locate even 1 retail market that sells them.

The product { Banoodles } you have listed as yours is in fact no longer yours, you lost the license because you failed at marketing it, yet you still have it listed as yours and represented as yours and Not selling in retail. This is fraud, its a lie and is in direct violation of the UIA code of ethics.

(Plus Reyland and his buddy Mark Smith (Patent Attorney ) added his name to the Provisional Patent Application (PPA) without the Original Inventors Permission, In other words they RIPPED the Inventor off. Hear Mark Reyland's patent attorney admit Mark Reyland is NOT a co-inventor and will be removed from application. (end of post)

The other is { The Flip Sided Quilting Rulers }, I contacted the inventor and apparently you DO NOT have the contract on that either, another fraudulent claim . NOT selling in retail. Again in violation of the UIA code of ethics.

UPDATE: Since I wrote this (several months ago) we have licensed the entire line of FlipSide (www.flipsiderulers.com) quilting rulers to a manufacturer in California, and 4 additional quilting products I developed for my quilting friends to the largest quilting products manufacturer in the world (Prym Dritz).The lesson here is that sometimes you have to immerse yourself in the consumer’s world to truly understand what they want.

The REAL lesson here is BEWARE of Mark Reyland. Everything that comes out of his MOUTH is Bull$hit!

The other { Nova eye glass pads } you have listed as patented. A utility patent. but my searching cant find any such patent. Anyway can you get a utility patent on eye glass pad's ? And again they are NOT selling in retail. Here's the link to that :

Now your { Twist Cap"s },where are they selling. No where that I can find in retail, and they have no IP protection as none of your other products do.

Actually only 2 products are yours as far as I know. and NONE are selling in retail as you claim on your biography, yet again a fraudulent claim. And inviolation of UIA code of ethics.

Problem is it was wrong to put Mark Reyland in the Provisional patent application to begin with and they both knew it!  We found the following on YouTube: 

             

Reyland and his Fictional Personalitites

What does a conman do when he's attempting to prevent people from exposing him? He begins to make up emails from people asking questions of him. Usually these are questions that always give him a use for his own gain.

Think of it like another made up character or his invisible friend. Sometimes conmen use fictional personalitites in forums when they want to answer a question nobody asks them. Mark Reyland actually calls them "ghost members" and claims all forums have them.

We see Reyland using both methods back and forth. One day there's a poster in a forum and the next day its an email from an inventor all asking him questions which end up with the same message as an answer... don't believe all the truth that's being written about me all over the Internet and judge me on ONLY how I treat you. A good message for him to spread considering the chances are he'll treat you well because he has no interest in your invention idea. For those few who he has interest in, like baby products, kitchen gadgets, tools, a privacy invention and others, it could end very differently.

Our message would be to believe what makes sense and not just some guy who claims to be something he isn't while he stalks and hurts other companies. We can tell you that Reyland does know about hurting competitors because he spent endless hours in forums and on review sites trying to hurt Edison Nation's products once they became public knowledge. Most, if not all of the things he claims are being done against him is in reality what he's doing to others. Nothing positive and nothing good.

As the holiday approaches and most people take a break to spend with family and friends you'll find Reyland typing away on his computer in his basement. He can't help it as he appears addicted to this online reality. In our opinion, this is where he lives out his fantasy and carries on with his dreams of being whoever he chooses to be. His online life comes to a standstill and he becomes frustrated and angry. Hopefully you are not on his naughty list because this is when he spends night and day hurting businesses or products.

Mark Reyland has been reported to tell others to claim what they like online because there is no inventing degree and nobody ever checks what you claim!

This conman isn't an inventor, he's not a good business man and he's not who he claims to be. He's just some guy who found an open window of opportunity where it's very difficult to prove who knows what and where it's so easy to ride on the claim "crazy inventor" when confronted. The only thing he has ever invented is himself and hopefully this invention will one day land him where he belongs with it... behind bars!

Habitual Liar?

This is now out in the open for all to see. We guess the inventor had enough of Mark posting her picture up and calling her and her friends stalkers.

AGAIN this proves Reyland a liar. Is anyone keeping count of how many lies he's been caught in with proof to back it up? As many people know, liars have a difficult time remembering what lie they told who and always are eventually caught. The crazy part is when they keep moving onto the next lie. It's becoming as clear as day who the unstable person most likely is. As was written by the inventor: how can Reyland be reporting the 3 inventors to the FBI and RCMP for stalking his family and contacting them via email sending them links about Mark when he announced quite a while back just how his family really found out!

In March 2011, the United Innovation Association UK (UIAUK) was invited by the United Inventors Association of America (UIAUSA) to work collaboratively under a Memorandum of Agreement(MOA).

We accepted, in the belief that such a partnership would benefit the members of both organisations. We agreed to use similar logos & names and to share resources whilst in all other respects to remain independent of one another.

We entered into the relationship with UIAUSA in good faith. However recent issues arising necessitated that we reconsider our position.

After careful consideration we have taken the decision to withdraw from the MOA with immediate effect and to have no further dealings with the UIAUSA.

As such this decision requires that we change our name and branding and all associated collateral such as URL and email addresses.

These changes will be completed within two weeks.

All services provided to all members and our support of them will remain unaffected.

Weeks back we wrote about Mark approaching inventors in the UK and we took this as an indication of him wanting to ‘branch out’. The above post does back our earlier thoughts. What Simon writes fits perfectly with Mark’s plans to mislead readers into thinking the UIA USA was growing globally and the UIA UK was part of the UIA USA.

Mark Reyland and Kenny Durham are cut from the same cloth, scam artists and thieves. One does have to wonder what Roger Brown brings to the table, who seems to be all over the internet promoting these two. Joining with Telebrands is supposed to be a reputable success? That company will support anything that puts money into their own pockets. Only new inventors to the community will fall for this, which is sad with so many out there. Other than talking a lot, what experience gives Mark Reyland the pedigree he claims to have? Nothing. Look up products he claims to be successful with and see who the real patent holder is.


Kenny Durham claims the only gift he has to give is not going through the buffet before you do. He claims to have licensed IP, formed start-ups around IP, sold IP outright, sold IP at auctions, and done IP in just about every way you can do it. The only thing he HAS done is ride on the success of others and then attack the very people who started his career. Go eat at his buffet and walk away with food poisoning.


Would Eric White, Diane Fitz, Amy Schleicher, Lauren Wagner, Michael Hohenberg or any of the other past employees who no longer work for Kenny Durham in his short two year career care to step up and save his reputation? Let's see all this glory and experience he claims to have.


Kenny Durham's bio claims he was in switch sales managing a six state territory with sales of four million, would they care to give him a glowing review on rip off report to protect him? Maybe the owner of Van Tuyle where he claims to be one of the top 10 car SALES managers in the country? He stumbled across the opportunity to broker IP and it became a passion? Where? How? Is he brokering IP or is he not and when did he start? Did he ever quit and for how long? Can he answer all these questions on this site? What is the first IP deal he negotiated and sold, or will this just become another accusation of casting blame and avoiding the truth accusing others for his downfall and making him the victim? Poor, poor Kenny. Let's hear all about his success and see a catalog full of his past IP Passion prior to 2010, maybe then we'll know he is real. People who have something to offer have people in their past who believe in them.
