Insider Blows The Whistle on the United Inventors Association & CONMAN Mark Reyland

By Joe Fournier
Friday, June 14,

Around May of 2012, I was an Inventor Member of the UIA, a post had come to my email looking for volunteers for the UIA,  I volunteered and shortly after received a phone call from Mark Reyland, Mark offered various tasks and offered to pay me for those tasks on a per task basis,  I worked for the UIA for almost a year, My first “Official Title” was Volunteer Coordinator, During that time I was still doing the work and research on the Inventors Rights Act of 1999.  Prior to this I had no writing experience that would qualify my to re write any legislative document.
When I first got involved with this I did not know a lot about the UIA, I was simply a Member who had signed up a short time before, and wanted to volunteer to help, from my understanding, the UIA was supposed to be a place where inventors could go to get help from quality and trusted companies, other resources were available, to help inventors become successful.  While I did not know a whole lot about the UIA, Mark Reyland pushed that it’s all about teaching inventors, later more derogatory terms were used, but I will get into the later.

Mark had met with me and I shared with him my invention, in which he thought was great, so did everyone I showed it to, but still do date I have no great success story to tell from any invention, even now why Mark thought I had any qualifications to do any of these Jobs I really do not know, maybe because I showed an interest, looking back, maybe because I would be easy to manipulate.  With the Director, of Corporate Membership services, looking back and seeing the emails, I was really pushed into this job, almost goaded into taking the Job, that I KNEW I was not qualified for.  This is part of an email I received when I was being asked to take the job

Really….are you scared of this level of job? because if you are I'm going to make fun of you forever :)

I am an inventor who to date has never brought a product to market, I had no experience in any of the positions I did with the UIA, I had to teach myself just about everything , when I had questions I would email them to mark for clarification, It is my opinion it was my level of interest in inventing or looking back now, an easy victim, I was never asked for any work history, references, or anything like that,  I struggled with the decision to take the offer and had many discussions with my wife about it, I feared I could not do the job as described, Mark finally talked me into taking the position, and I jumped in head first not knowing what I was doing.  I was simply a UIA member trying help  people.  Then is when I learned how the corporate membership programs worked, Patron Membership 500.00 per year with no ROI, a small business platinum Membership 3000.00  per year included 2 emails per year to advertise to the UIA members, and one blog a month, and a Platinum Membership which hekd the same ROI as the Small business platinum Membership5000.00 per year.  In many cases even a large company could sign up for the 3000.00 membership it was said that its better to get 3000.00 from them than nothing at all. So even those “rules” were not enforced.

In a couple cases the UIA allowed companies to “pay to play” for emailing the UIA community, on one such case, Inventions Geneva was charged $500, for a patron membership and paid an additional $500.00 for the UIA to advertise their event. We sent out two emails for Inventions Geneva for the additional $500.

In the second case, Ron Docie signed up for a Patron membership and was allowed to advertise his services to the UIA community.  No other Patron member was afforded this opportunity unless it was where I asked them to send me something for a blog post thanking our patron members.

Certain trades were made with companies to exchange services for sponsorship, Fargo Design, and a radio station both had services trade agreements. Trade a membership from the UIA for their services.

It wasn’t till all this started that I realized that even the telling the corporate sponsors we were emailing at this point almost 14,000 members, the fact of the matter is really this well that’s not quite the truth either, you see almost 14,000 is the member count, but what they don’t tell you when they send out the emails is the some 5000 of those who have opted out of receiving emails from the UIA, and it doesn’t tell you of the 2000 to 3000 errors it gets from people signing up with fake, or improper emails, so how many out of almost 14,000 wind up actually getting an email, if my memory recalls somewhere between 6000 and 7000 that actually receive the email, and then add the bounce backs that came to my email, either the email for that person had changed, required verification, unknown delivery recipient, so the number may be even less than that.

Initially, when I started the membership director position there was NO voting. It was simply a company would want to join, they would pay their dues and they were added to the website and blog pages. After the Jan 2013 (annual) board meeting the process changed.  There are 5 members of the executive committee Mark Reyland (also the executive Director) Trevor Lambert, Ken Bloemer, Warren Tuttle (president), and Bill McHenry. Generally speaking I would do basic research on a company and send it over for a vote; the only NO vote I recall ever getting was from Bill McHenry. McHenry or Warren (I cannot remember which) initiated a conference call to discuss the company. After Bill presented his evidence as to why this company should not be allowed into the UIA, it was sent back out for vote, the votes came in 4 YES and 1 NO (the no was still Bill McHenry). It was a “majority wins” voting system, and once I had 3 YES votes I could send them (the new member) a link to make payment.

I received an email from a previous corporate sponsor who with their permission I will include their story where she says that their references were never even checked, The Company was promised a bunch of things that they never received, and feels taken advantage of as a corporate sponsor. The original letter is also on my blog. http://inventorswelcome.blogspot.com/

Here is the Quoted Email from this previous “Certified Pros’” letter to me , it seems as even when they had the Certified Pro label for what they now call sponsors, nothing was different, they were not doing all the checks they had promised the UIA community they promised they were doing anyway.  Maybe that explains the “so what” attitude, I guess nothing really changed but the name, they were never doing any actual research back then either.

“Dear Joe!

Thank you for your candor! I appreciate your honesty and boldness to step forward and "blow the whistle". I was actually offered your position by Mark Reyland almost a year ago and when I queried him on the outrageous requirements of the job position I never received an answer. I can validate your claim as I paid $5000.00 for a Platinum Membership and was never researched nor were my references called. A fact I found terribly disturbing given the level of "approval" i was supposed to be subjected to. I was promised that I would be invited to be a guest speaker at trade shows, attend VIP dinners where conferences were held and never received an invitation. I was fleeced for $5000.00 and couldn't even access the membership directory after paying. I could go on and on.

If you would like to discuss this with me further or need any fodder to substantiate your claims please feel free to call me!! I was left out to dry by the UIA at the Platinum Level and lost all hope in my invention and company.

I am SO appreciative you stepped out and brought this situation into the light!!

With gratitude,

Identity hidden intentionally.

So I have to wonder now with the UIA, was it ever about the actual Inventor, or was it about the money, I think we all know the answer to that. I cant even count the times I was told that the amount of money coming in didn’t cover the “nut”  I also know several weeks ago I was told directly by Mark Reyland that the UIA account had a over 700.00 negative balance,  that is what he said.

While I didn’t know about any actual perks involved with the tradeshow sponsors. The only thing I found odd, is InventionHome was always a sponsor of trade shows, I don’t know if that is wrong, just thought that they were just hand in hand with the UIA. I do not know what or if they paid for sponsorships, as trade shows were not my department; it just always struck me as odd.

As far as my job with the UIA goes, I was never written up for anything, I was never reprimanded, I was never in any sort of trouble None!  In reviewing emails I see a lot of praises for my hard work. I was terminated when I asked Mark to call me, related to being compensated for work I had completed 2 weeks prior in a text message which turned into a “back and forth” text argument that resulted in “the UIA will no longer require your services.” I was asked to take over inventingquestions@uiausa.org, because I was told by Mark Reyland that Roger Brown Inventor who had been answering the email was forced to quit doing the job, or face consequences greater than a few day suspensions he received from his workplace Edison Nation, and Roger Brown was to write an apology letter to John Young.  SO I took over that Job and was promised 500.00 per month, at the end of April I sent a report of how many questions came in, I submitted the required information at the end of the month.  I expected to be paid, when 2 weeks went by I sent mark a text message that said something like, Hey Bud, sorry for your loss, but when you have time I really need to talk to you about compensation on the inventing question thing.  Mark sent back a nasty message I sent a nasty message, this went back and forth and then I received the UIA will no longer require your services, in a text message

Its interesting reflecting back and now that as I have talked to 2 other people who were offered this position, they were offered a higher pay structure than I was, example being, a full platinum membership costs 5000.00 and commission on the 2 other contracts were 1000 commission, but I was only paid 750.00 for the same thing, I wonder now looking at Mark Reyland told me they were never offered 1000, was Mr Reyland been pocketing 250.00 of each sale I made?  I requested the procedures for hiring and firing and have not gotten a reply.  Also wouldn’t the pay involved in any position be something that would have been voted on by the board? Or does this just another example where Mark Reyland is the board and makes all the decisions on his own?  Why would my pay be different than someone else’s?  I can see where as I had no experience in the beginning, to make a smaller amount, but I had proven my abilities many times over.  I was also told that I would make a base pay of 500.00 per month, when QVC pulled their deal out I was told that I would no longer be getting a base pay,  there were times where I worked all month and if a sale didn’t come in, I spent the entire month and made absolutely NOTHING.

I was accused of hacking into the UIA computer systems, when the fact is I simply logged in with the credentials given to me by Mark. I found it actually refreshing that in Warren’s message to the members he admits to what I had told everyone; they did indeed change the certification to (just) sponsorship, but he did not address why the UIA failed to inform the UIA community of this change.

I truly do not understand; even before all this there are tons of stories of how unethical Mark is and how he is giving the UIA a bad name, to the point I was told directly by Mark, that the negativity around him cost the UIA some $200,000 per year on a 3-year deal with QVC (Martin Bispels) .  And I was told by Mark that Bill McHenry had asked for Mark’s resignation at some point to the board or maybe directly to Warren. Why the President of the organization would allow this I really have no clue.

If I could Make a recommendation to anyone it would be research,  Not just the UIA, but any company, find out who you are dealing with, find out who is in the company research those people as well,  I actually Have a few ideas on how to create an organization better than what the UIA is offering.

Knives out for US inventor service company CEO

Trouble at t' US invention mill

Inventors and bar-room brawl aficionados could do worse than look in on this discussion forum – at the time of writing, 258 comments and rising fast – where several members of the United States inventor community are busy smashing furniture and filling the air with oaths, accusations, passion, libel, illiteracy and incoherence. The title of the discussion – reproduced here exactly as written – is:
Would You Call DAVIDSON INVENTION SUBMISSION COMPANY..” One Of Your OWN “. And Praise Them For Biulding A Cool Place With Inventor RIP OFF MONEY.
Explanation follows, but the capitals alone give some sense of the pressure about to blow.
The focus of it all is Mark Reyland, CEO of the United Inventors Association of America. He wrote a blog piece praising well-known US inventor services outfit Davison (not Davidson). They, it appears, are not held in high esteem by inventor John Young, who then kicked off the discussion. Hence the title.
But forget Davison. John Young’s main target is Mark Reyland. Why? The precise reason is unclear to say the least, but the direction of travel of John’s loathing is beyond doubt. And it’s evidently shared by other US inventors.
Inventors united against United Inventors
What seems to be happening now is that several US inventors who also have a bone to pick with Reyland are jointly challenging him to justify his claim to be a big wheel in the US inventor services world, and to respond to a number of allegations of sharp practice.
To give Reyland his due, he’s willing to answer back: but in more than one name, never to the point, and in an irrational and provocatively ad hominem manner that merely adds fuel to the fire.
Unfortunately – or fortunately, if it’s entertainment you’re after – several of his adversaries can easily match his inflammatory ramblings and taunts with their own, which makes the ‘discussion’ somewhat difficult to follow. (An honourable exception is inventor and entrepreneur Nancy Tedeschi, who is doing her patient best to get answers from Mark Reyland by asking nicely. With no success whatsoever.)
Inventor services company in name only?
Throwing all legal caution to the winds (when in Rome…), our own take on the shenanigans is this:
First, the United Inventors Association of America may be more smoke and mirrors than reality. Despite its ‘board of directors’ we’d bet that for all practical purposes UIA is Mark Reyland and no one else.
Second, Mark Reyland is a paranoid fantasist who mistakenly thinks he’s very clever in his use of multiple personalities and other forms of fakery to keep his plates spinning.
Yes, it’s that bad.
One can speculate on how many screws might be loose, but our guess is that for Mr Reyland the priority is seeking attention, not making money. And boy, is he getting a lot of attention right now. That probably makes him a happy, if disturbed, bunny while leaving his more mercurial adversaries raging and frothing impotently. Thus, stalemate rather than checkmate.
Our own ten pennorth of advice was to have UIA tax returns checked for any irregularities. That’s how they got Al Capone, after all. But Capone had assets. We suspect that any serious investigation of UIA will discover that it has no real substance, which might account for the inability so far for critics to deliver a knockout blow.
Other than that, starving the man of attention will probably have more effect than feeding him yet more of the oxygen of publicity that he craves. But as other posters seem unable to get that message, fat chance of a speedy end to all the increasingly futile exchanges. This show will run and run!
Do we have an equivalent situation in the UK? Not that we know of. But when it comes to unanswered questions there is always Nesta, which will be the subject of our next post…

UPDATE: As of 26 January the LinkedIn discussion thread seems to have vanished, after more than 500 posts. Probably for the best as it was all getting absolutely nowhere, but it still leaves a very large question mark hanging over the integrity of UIA and the people who run it.

I am John young, I’m publicly accusing Mark reyland Of being a fraud. Ive investigated his credentials, and his credential claims. Its very simple, they don’t match, not only they don’t match, they don’t exist.
His claims of his many patented products = 1 provisional patent application that is listed as Abandoned, Yes that’s it, Oh wait there is his name as co inventor that he put on another inventor clients application without her prior knowledge, but that doesn’t show when you enter his name at the USPTO.
All his other claims of multi million dollar products on the market are lies too, everything he claims is a lie.
So I publicly called him on it, asking for proof and saying I know there isn’t any.
This is what started all this, he couldn’t answer it, So I sent an email to the UIA board members asking for proof and telling them of my investigation and findings. I posted the emails for all to see because it involves all inventors.
They never replied, I sent 2 more, no reply, I called the UIA office and left massages to please call me, No calls.
The UIA obviously knows of Reylands B.S. and are OK with it.
For me this is totally unacceptable and I will fight on behalf of all inventors in every country to clean us of uncaring, unethical, fraudulent, unresponsive, high and mighty, UIA Inventor resource.
They don’t care about you, don’t let Mark Reyland walk with us. He needs to be shunned from the invention community.
I don’t have time to get in to his multiple personalities and fictitious names he uses. Its that unbelievable !
    Thanks john

Great synopsis Graham. I threw in a couple of early comments to the discussion and I use that term loosely as its disintergrated into a pointless slanging match
What I find incredulous is the comments Mark Reyland makes whether under his own name or masquerading under false names via made up Linked In and other blog accounts. He denies being those people even though he has been outed, and apologised on other forums when busted for doing exactly that.
This is the head of the UIA (USA) we are talking about – can you imagine any director of a UK company least of all a not for profit trade association behaving like that?
And he appears to enjoy it – deliberately inciting his adversaries to froth at the mouth; rant and rant and rant some more.
Of course those who feel ripped off and offended by him – a man standing accused of operating under false credentials, promoting invention service firms who have (alledgedly) cheated inventors out of £thousands, accused of (and busted I believe) putting his own name on an inventors Patent Application; posing as multiple personalities created to act in his defence when under pressure in blogs – demand answers as to why this man can remain the director of the Inventors Association.
Yet nothing changes – a director he remains – so either your thoughts on the matter regards him being the only official director of the UIA supported by a toothless board or a dozen or so aggrieved inventors have become obsessed with outing him on baseless grounds.
That said – the allegations do not appear baseless – the false identities and his own comments and confessions support much of what is being aired.
So is he a delusional person, a conman or a victim driven mad by what he describes as ‘stalkers’?
Whatever the answer, one thing for sure is that the way he is dealing with people is entirely unbecoming of a director of the USA’s largest inventor trade association – and for that reason alone he ought to step down
Oh and of course – he did default on a contractual obligation to the UK Invention Forum (then trading as UIA UK for a short-time) and when challenged by its CEO began a public under-mining & attack on him & his credentials – all entirely unfounded
So I think we know enough…
But how does he survive without the USA governence authorities stepping in to deal with matters formally?

Wow this Circus Clown "Mark Reyland sure is proud of himself.

Patent Knowledge from a CONMAN..BEWARE

This is FUNNY. Mark Reyland talking about patents. Maybe he should seek help from some of the people that actually get their applications awarded by the USPTO. Reyland claims to have MANY patents of his own. Truth be known he has NONE.

Please be careful around this CONMAN he will steel your invention in a HEART BEAT claiming to be co-inventor..

I have a patent...big deal

Not a day goes by I don't meet an inventor who tells me about their patent. Really, on airplanes, in meetings, presentations, even walking down the street. Thousands of them a year want to talk about the great patent they received on an invention they will never commercialize.

It has been said that an uncommercialized invention is a hobby, and a patented uncommercialied invention is an expensive hobby.
Why do these kind, hope filled inventors always want to go off and get a patent before they have a plan for making money back on their investment? It's simple economics isn't it? Doesn't it revolve around the principles of risk and return like any other investment?

The answer is yes, inventing is an exercise in risk and return just like any other commercial function that requires the exchange of currency. Simple - You do things in the process that will reduce your risk while maximizing your return.
So we get a patent, logically reducing the risk our idea will be ripped off, but greatly increasing the financial risk as we lay thousands of dollars on the line.

The inventor doesn't often think about the monetary risks because they are so focused on the ingrained paranoia of the process. The fact is that risk is risk, and in most cases (not all) the risk of getting ripped off is tiny compared to the level of risk you create when you dump money into something you will never end up commercializing.

Mark Reyland UIA/USA = Scary Stalker

When was the last time anyone even heard from one of the women Mark Reyland enjoys STALKING? Not in a while that we can find. Here's where Reyland made ANOTHER stalking mistake. He's been trying to find one of his stalking victims and accidentally landed on someone's blog.
We've had a few blog and website owners contact us recently about this search of his, claiming hundreds of hits on their websites while he uses the same search terms, so we thought it was time to expose him for this one. The below information was forwarded to us to show he will never stop STALKING the women (and their families) he terrorizes. Wait until his wife Debra get's wind of his WOMEN STALKING.

This guy is sick and in charge of the UIA/USA United Inventors Association and backed by Warren Tuttle, a product scout for Lifetime Brands.
Hundreds of hours working for inventors; or hundreds of hours stalking his female victims?
And this MORON has the audacity to claim he's working with the FBI and being STALKED. He also said the UIA is burning up funds allocated for Inventor Education on Legal fees to stop his stalkers. Wait until the IRS gets in their non for profit books, then the Legal fees will go CA-CHING....CA-CHING.....

Here's Reyland's tracked information. Look at his search query. This is just one of many different search terms he has been using to stalk an inventor.

The apple doesnt fall far from the tree.... google is great !
A few days ago, I get a call from a Number that I didnt recognize by a name it used that I forgot. The caller said in a voice { that I wasnt sure was a man or woman and thought it was being disguised }, are you the one who has the Mark Reyland blog. At first I answered yes thinking it was this group it was talking about, but then realized it meant the Mark Reyland Blogspot, and I said No. It went on to explain it needed to get in touch with the owner of it because it had " some information ". I said " no I dont have anything to do with that blog and dont know who runs it ". It went on to ask if there was anyway I could find out, I said no, try leaving a comment and ask for them to call you or email you.
So I asked what kind of information, it said, I will only share it with the blog. I said fine, I dont know who ownes it and wish they didnt have me involved by posting my discussions and showing my name and photo, It was around long before I came around inventing and that should prove its not mine. So the call ends and I look at the number and store it because I found it odd that someone would call me out of the blue and ask that.

The person on the phone I was referring to as an "IT " was because I didnt know who it was or if it was male or a female voice. So today I googled the phone number several things poped up but my attention was drawn to a trademark from the USPTO. I clicked on it and what did I find ?

(words only): STREETEATS

Standard Character claim: No

Date of Status: 2011-08-08

Transformed into a National Application: No

Registration Date: (DATE NOT AVAILABLE)

Register: Principal

Law Office Assigned: LAW OFFICE 111
Phone Number: 917-657-4994

Mark Reyland's son Phillip Reyland with a abandon trade mark for his street vendor app " street eats " which he applied for but let go abandoned.

Next I google " street eats " and find the voice I heard on the phone. it wasnt a disguise, its his voice.
http://video.foxnews.com/v/3974034/how-to-track-mobile-food-venders/

So, Mark Reyland says Im contacting his family, { which never happened } He says there are legal proceedings using up UIA funds that could be used for inventors, also that there is an FBI investigation.

So is his son Phillip leading the investigation team, or is it more BS from
Reyland.
I bring this up, because I hate liars, lies such as Im being sued and investigated by the FBI. So heres some of my reasoning that its all lies :

Do you have your son get involed with an attorneys and the FBI's investigation ?
Do you exchange emails with your accused stalker over weeks, sometimes 3 or 4 a day ?
Do you have 3 hour long phone conversations with your stalker talking about inventing, { the call only ended because his battery died }.

So that is why I say the apple doesnt fall far from the tree :
1. abandoned USPTO application { from Mark and his son }
2. Hidden identity when making correspondence { Both of them }
3. Trying to gain information under fraudulent circumstances { Both ot them }

Yea an investigation from an attorney that UIA funds are being diverted from , { sure }.

A FBI investigation being lead by his son, { yea the FBI always uses family members that are being stalked to call the stalker for their investigation }

So I hope you can see the lies of a liar.

This is not to start a fight, but to prove my innocents to his accusations

Conman dreams of ruling invention industry

More stupidity posted by the executive director of the UIA, United Inventors Association of America. Isn’t he tired of being proven a liar over and over again?
Mark T. Reyland • Troy - Just to be clear - we did not update the board members on the UIA site because each time we do, you, John Young, and Derek Pater stalk and harass them. Your posting that issue here is simply designed to get us to make those updates so you can continue your harrasment - others here may not know that but we do.

You and John Young have been banned from almost every inventor group on the internet, and have clearly shown what most people would consider emotional instability and uncontrolled anger - for the safety of our board members, their families, and that of our general membership, we will continue to refrain from talking publicly about who is involved in the UIA until such time as your stalking and harassment stops
.
(Nonprofit organizations must be transparent for the public to see. They are somewhat “owned” by the public. We suggest people are pulling away from the UIA and these positions are not being filled by anyone)

The UIA is the largest and most active organization in the world dedicated to inventor education.

For almost 27 years we have kept our compass pointed to what's best for the inventor community and your last two years of constant harassment, lies, threats, and stalking have had zero affect on that.
(Zero effect yet he refuses to list board members due to his false stalking claims)
In fact, even in the face of your anonymous hate blogs, your email campaigns to our supporters, your attacks here on LinkedIn and other unregulated web sites, UIA membership has grown in the last two years from about 4000 members to almost 13,000.
(Mark Reyland claims anyone who joins the UIA groups in Linkedin as a member, anyone who likes a comment ion Facebook as a member, anyone who sends him an email a member, anyone who says, “Hi” to him as a member and so on.)

In contrast Troy, your well publicized vendetta against me and the UIA has accomplished nothing but forcing us to spend money on legal actions trying to get you and John Young to stop stalking us. Money you forced us to divert from the inventor education programs that benefit the real inventors in our industry.
(You stated it had zero effect, now you claim to be losing money? Which is it? This is another perfect example, among many, of Mark Reyland, Executive director, UIA not keeping his lies straight)
The inventing industry has changed significantly in the last several years. the ENTIRE UIA staff is proud of the hard work we have put in and the positive changes, programs, and progress we have seen take root.

We look forward to the days ahead as the swell of inventor education increases and the UIA leads our industry to a unity that has no tolerance for behavior from people like you and your little friends.
(In your dreams. Your phony non active member numbers mean nothing. I was a member at one time and I don’t recall a “deactivate my membership” button. You have no peer respect and are a conman in the business world with many false identities to help move you along. We hear it’s becoming more difficult with doors slamming in your face. People are seeing you for what you really are.)

Mark Reyland and HIS Double Edged Sword

BEWARE of Mark Reyland the Executive Director of The United Inventors Association. He speaks out of both sides of his BIG MOUTH. You will see why below.

Sites you should NOT use

By Mark Reyland

The inventing industry has many holes you can fall in on your journey. One such hole is the use of crowd sourcing sites. Those are sites that ask you to list your invention and allow others to comment or give you feedback.

Here are some things you should know about using these sites.

Other than the Terms & Conditions sections are often written in such a way that you “forfit” all, or a “significant” part of “yoru” rights to the owners of the site. There are 3 main reasons the UIA does not recommend you use them.

After looking at Reyland's spelling above it really makes us laugh when we look back at how much crap he gave John Young with his spelling ability's.....Reyland even quotes the misspelled words... And he has the audacity to call John an uneducated moron.

1. Posting your invention on a site like this is public disclosure and can cost you the opportunity to gain patent protection on your invention
But it's ok to post your invention on sites like FUNDAGEEK? Why is this site any different Mr Reyland? Is it because you have close ties to them? Isn't FUNDAGEEK a UIA Certified Member?
2. Any person that makes any suggestion to your invention that you use, could later make a co-inventor claim against you

3. Many companies that license innovation refuse to work with a product that has been listed on these sites for both of the reasons listed above.

Please do not list your inventions or ideas on these sites.

Quirky
Ahhha
MomQuestion
Genius Crowds

These are just the few that we know about – if you run across these kind of sites please let us know so we can let others know.

As always, the UIA recommends that you consult a practicing attorney in your state before enrolling in any site or listing your invention on the internet.
Reyland will be trolling the Inpex Show today. Let's see if he can RIP off another inventor with his conman personality full of BS lies and fake resume. By the way Inpex is InventHelp.. Invention Submission Company. Lets see if Reyland tries to recruit them as a UIA Certified Member. We all know what happen to Patrick Raymond when he had ties to InventHelp......Bonnie Kaake had a real problem with Patrick during that period. She made a statement that Patrick was getting paid from one of the submission company's.

Transparency and Honesty For Mark Reyland....Nothing But Lies!

How many times does this CONMAN LIAR need to be exposed for what and who he really is? Although Reyland enjoyed his little game of post and delete, John managed to copy everything Reyland posted. Mark reyland, Johnny Franklin, Anonymous, Johnny Gee, can any of us keep up?
A few quotes below by Mark Reyland, representing the UIA USA with Warren Tuttle standing by his side...
“Maybe you should go back to the huddle and see if you can find something at least within this decade. Try the prison guard stolen identity one…at least we all got a good chuckle out of that…or the UIA steals an inventor “Asset” lie of yours that turned out to be the way a database assigns formatted data when it’s uploaded to a site. That was classic.
“You are a loser”
“a mentally unstable, pathetic loser
“You have no clue how the industry works and this rag tag team of misfits you call a company has no more clue than you.”

“Do you have any idea how many John Young morons I’ve seen come and go in this business?
get a frigging life”
“you are all losers.”

Okay guys, huddle up here –

Troy.. You dig up some stuff off the internet from years ago and try to make it sound new, remember, the older the better - and whatever you do - NO Context!. Then sprinkle some of that magic “research” of yours on it, you know, the stuff that only you know about (wink, wink) Instead of the black prison guard from NJ, this time let’s claim he stole the identity of a 95 year old woman from Tulsa…ya that will get him. And the military thing, let’s do that one again, but this time let's claim he lied about being in the Civil War…then the stolen “Asset” one….man you're going to make up some cool stuff....I’m so excited

Derek, You just keep hammering that letter from Simon, post it everywhere, in fact, I would have T-Shirts made and we can hand them out. You are the coolest terrorist in the inventing industry Derek with your Simon Brown Letter super powers - keep at it mate.

And John, you just go crazy…ya that’s it, go crazy with rants and lies and whatever Troy tells you. Just blast the world with lunatic rants and obscenities. No matter what you do, don’t sound normal, keep acting as crazy as you do and it will keep everyone away. Oh..and the Homophobe thing is great, use that some more… people eat that stuff up. In the mean time, start another company, beg for some more money and this time let’s start an inventor dog walking company, You can be the president again, Derek can be in charge of media relations (oh just send them all the Simon Brown Letter Derek, how hard can it be?), The best news is that every dog walker has to deal with crap, and all three of you are experts at producing crap.

Now get out there team and show the world who you really are….oops, you are already doing that….sorry

Mark Reyland meets John Cremeans in Tampa

Mark Reyland claims he's known John Cremeans a long time and their friends. Yeah right Mr. Reyland  just met John in Tampa and your now long time friends.......What a joke.

Were wondering if Reyland told John about all his Inventions he brought into the Industry that sells WORLDWIDE? That NO one can locate. Were sure he didn’t because John isn’t a fool. Maybe Reyland was dressed up in one of his made up profiles like JohnnyGee or Mr. Anthony High a Special Opps Officer……Mr High is a BLACK MAN did Reyland ever think he could pull that off? We’ve even seen him with his Sissy Spaceout… opps we mean Spacek outfit on. Yes he has made up FAKE WOMEN profiles on Inventors forums like Edison Nation before so we wouldn’t put it past him. Reyland has even dressed up as his wife on Edison Nation, we seen that happen when he/she went after Gizmo.

Maybe he would of been better off with a Fake Sally Feilds/Sybill profile.

Sorry.. Mr Reyland you can run but you CAN'T HIDE! It’s easy for people to figure you out in ALL YOUR COSTUMES!

Looking back down memory lane we remember Reyland loved to slam Louis Foreman the owner of Edison Nation and the UIA board member. Now the CIRCUS CLOWN claims to be close friends with Foreman and sits in the UIA Executive Directors position.

John Young has exposed a few of the UIA Medallion/Gold Inventor Submission Companies like Invention Home/Jacobs Enterprise that wanted to help bring John's FAKE STICK Invention into the industry for MONEY. InventionHome Co-Founder Mr Russell Williams what were you thinking?

Really guys a STICK with a Hook on it.

United Iventorrs Association

I recently had lunch with a good friend in Florida – his name is John Cremeans. In addition to being one of the most talented on air hosts ever to grace the airwaves, John is a long standing champion of the independent inventor. I’ve known John a long time, and few people in the

We all know Reyland thinks he’s SUPERMAN, it’s too bad the only ones that believe it is Reyland and his Naive Inventors that follow him.

Inventors PLEASE do your Homework on this Conman. Remember Bernie Madoff was a well respected man in the Investor Industry. Bernie ended up in the slammer leaving most of his Investors Friends and Clients holding the empty bag.!

Maybe John Young should send Bernie a sample of his Stick/Hook Invention to pick the cell lock! :)

Better yet if Reyland ends up in the slammer next to Madoff he can pass Bernie one of the Sticks. We bet he's going to tell Bernie he invented the stick or is a co-inventor because he decided on the type of tree/wood/length and diameter of the design! :)

These two will be doing the BOOTY DANCE all the way to the bank with Bernie's financial background. Were betting they will approach the King of Infomercials AJ Khubani/Telebrands to licence the stick.

Let the BOOTY DANCING begin ,,,,,,,_)(_/_)(_l_)(_\_)(__)(_l_)(_/_)(_l_)(_\_)(__)(_l_) SHAKE IT and audition for DANCING WITH THE STARS.

Maybe Inventor Roger Brown UIA Staff Member should do his research also!

FundaGeek & Conman Mark Reyland Gets Questioned By Inventor On LinkedIn

WOW...This crowd funding thing is launching like a rocket. But people need to know how best to use it.

Inventor John Young's Digging in the Rats Nest AGAIN,

john Young

The other is { The Flip Sided Quilting Rulers }, I contacted the inventor and apparently you DO NOT have the contract on that either, another fraudulent claim . NOT selling in retail. Again in violation of the UIA code of ethics.

Reyland posted this on Edison Nation about a year ago!
UPDATE: Since I wrote this (several months ago) we have licensed the entire line of FlipSide (www.flipsiderulers.com) quilting rulers to a manufacturer in California, and 4 additional quilting products I developed for my quilting friends to the largest quilting products manufacturer in the world (Prym Dritz). The lesson here is that sometimes you have to immerse yourself in the consumer’s world to truly understand what they want.

The REAL lesson here is BEWARE of Mark Reyland. Everything that comes out of his MOUTH is Bull$hit!

We wonder what Inventor Roger Brown thinks of his Buddy Reyland now! Louis Foreman & Matt Spangard from EDISON NATION/ENVENTYS need to take Brown down to the closest river and wash his Dirty Face & Hands off  after playing with Conman Reyland!

               http://www.edisonnation.com/posts?q=flipside+rulers&commit=Search

The other { Nova eye glass pads } you have listed as patented. A utility patent. but my searching cant find any such patent. Anyway can you get a utility patent on eye glass pad's ? And again they are NOT selling in retail. Here's the link to that :

                               http://www.matchproduct.com/Products/Detail/640

If there is no patent on the Nova eye glass pad"s, Once more a fraudulent claim, and in violation of the UIA code of ethics.

Now your { Twist Cap"s },where are they selling. No where that I can find in retail, and they have no IP protection as none of your other products do.

Actually only 2 products are yours as far as I know. and NONE are selling in retail as you claim on your biography, yet again a fraudulent claim. And inviolation of UIA code of ethics.

{ In addition to his role with the UIA, Mr. Reyland is an accomplished inventor with {{many retail products on the market }}, and CEO of Obvious Ideas LLC, a Cincinnati based Product Development Company. }

So there's 4 violations of the UIA's code of ethics by the Executive Director
Mark Reyland.

UIA Code of Ethics
# I. Personal and Professional Integrity

All staff, board members, members, and volunteers of the United Inventors Association (UIA) act with honesty, integrity and openness in all their dealings as representatives of the UIA. The UIA promotes a working environment that values respect, fairness and integrity.

II. Governance

The UIA has an active governing body that is responsible for setting the mission and strategic direction of the UIA and oversight of the finances, operations, and policies of
the UIA. The governing body:
# 2 Ensures that its board members have the requisite skills and experience to carry out their duties and that all members understand and fulfill their governance duties acting for the benefit of the UIA and its public purpose;

Is responsible for the electing and regular review of the performance of the president,
Ensures that the president and executive director provide the governing body with timely and comprehensive information so that the governing body can effectively carry
out its duties
# 3 Ensures that the UIA conducts all transactions and dealings with integrity and honesty

# 4 Ensures that the UIA promotes working relationships with the president, executive director, board members, service providers, and members that are based on mutual respect, fairness and openness;

Ensures that the UIA is fair and inclusive in its hiring and promotion policies and
practices for all staff and volunteer positions
Ensures that policies of the UIA are in writing, clearly articulated and officially adopted;
Ensures that the resources of the UIA are responsibly and prudently managed; and,
Ensures that the UIA has the capacity to carry out its programs effectively.

I was just wondering about this.

Problem is it was wrong to put Mark Reyland in the Provisional patent application to begin with and they both knew it!  We found the following on YouTube:
