We no he's been testing the prototype for years in his dark product development basement office. Reyland's claims of bringing many products into the retail industry for years....just so happens NO one can locate them. Maybe this one will finally be a WINNER. The big question is will the BEAT THE DUMMY game have Patent protection before the Chicago Toy & Game Expo in November.

He was caught posting falsely as Johnny Gee less than 2 years ago on Edison Nation. He denied it was him and lied about it when he was accused, until he screwed up and signed in as Mark Reyland and posted as Johnny. Only then when there was indisputable proof did he admit it.

He said his marriage was on the rocks and that's why he did it. I would say his marriage was on the rocks, considering he was telling women his invention was a SEX TOY.

Ron Reitano •This is my point,,,If the Johnny Gee thing happen a couple of years ago, how is it that he was elected after the fact? And another thing, would you want someone posting a "sex toy" representing the inventing community? As far as I can tell we are a G-rated creed of people lost and looking for quality advise to pursue our endeavors whether Mr. Brown likes them or not. You also mentioned the Reylands marriage was on the rocks. Hopefully the sex toy isn't called Rocks.

When was the last time anyone even heard from one of the women Mark Reyland enjoys STALKING? Not in a while that we can find. Here's where Reyland made ANOTHER stalking mistake. He's been trying to find one of his stalking victims and accidentally landed on someone's blog.

We've had a few blog and website owners contact us recently about this search of his, claiming hundreds of hits on their websites while he uses the same search terms, so we thought it was time to expose him for this one. The below information was forwarded to us to show he will never stop STALKING the women (and their families) he terrorizes. Wait until his wife Debra get's wind of his WOMEN STALKING.

A few days ago, I get a call from a Number that I didnt recognize by a name it used that I forgot. The caller said in a voice { that I wasnt sure was a man or woman and thought it was being disguised }, are you the one who has the Mark Reyland blog. At first I answered yes thinking it was this group it was talking about, but then realized it meant the Mark Reyland Blogspot, and I said No. It went on to explain it needed to get in touch with the owner of it because it had " some information ". I said " no I dont have anything to do with that blog and dont know who runs it ". It went on to ask if there was anyway I could find out, I said no, try leaving a comment and ask for them to call you or email you.
So I asked what kind of information, it said, I will only share it with the blog. I said fine, I dont know who ownes it and wish they didnt have me involved by posting my discussions and showing my name and photo, It was around long before I came around inventing and that should prove its not mine. So the call ends and I look at the number and store it because I found it odd that someone would call me out of the blue and ask that.

The person on the phone I was referring to as an "IT " was because I didnt know who it was or if it was male or a female voice. So today I googled the phone number several things poped up but my attention was drawn to a trademark from the USPTO. I clicked on it and what did I find ?

So is his son Phillip leading the investigation team, or is it more BS from Reyland.
I bring this up, because I hate liars, lies such as Im being sued and investigated by the FBI. So heres some of my reasoning that its all lies :

Do you have your son get involed with an attorneys and the FBI's investigation ?
Do you exchange emails with your accused stalker over weeks,sometimes 3 or 4 a day ?
Do you have 3 hour long phone conversations with your stalker talking about inventing, { the call only ended because his battery died }.

So that is why I say the apple doesnt fall far from the tree :
1. abandoned USPTO application { from Mark and his son }
2. Hidden identity when making correspondence { Both of them }
3. Trying to gain information under fraudulent circumstances { Both ot them }

Yea an investigation from an attorney that UIA funds are being diverted from , { sure }.

A FBI investigation being lead by his son, { yea the FBI always uses family members that are being stalked to call the stalker for their investigation }

So I hope you can see the lies of a liar.

Inventor Roger Brown Looks like a FOOL Once AGAIN

John Young really Slapped  Mr Brown again.

We could have copied more but to be honest, it was becoming painful to read the rant falling off the tips of inventor, Roger Brown’s fingers. He was fully intending to create trouble and fighting in threads. Maybe he’s having ANOTHER bad day?

The important part below is this: Roger Brown claims he is not a staff member of the UIA and even insinuated John Young created a fake email to imply Brown had such an email account.

Maybe he didn’t think John would pull the move he did. Anyone is welcome to email John and ask for Roger Brown’s UIA sent email. We never thought Roger was as sly as Reyland but here we have it shining through. Reyland must finally be proud to call Roger `friend` opposed to the other more flavorable names Mark Reyland has been quoted calling Roger Brown. 

Nice that Roger is slapping the words all over, given to him by Mark Reyland, that companies are about to sue John Young. Good move guys. You told the wrong man Reyland...dribble... dribble ...dribble...his ego is as big as yours and his constant NEED to show he has inside information is a burden for him to hold.

Were betting Roger has no place to hide now that Reyland left him in the sand box with the Pitt Bulls. He needs to watch where he steps in the sand,those arent Baby Ruth Bars or Cigars laying around. NEED A LIGHT ROGER?

I'm faking that email Huh, if you are saying that, I'm publicly calling you a liar. And will prove the email is real by forwarding it to anyone that wants to see proof that you are a LIAR and not to be trusted.

IF you are saying that I faked that email, you have just been caught in a lie to these inventors.

Im sure you can re-site the American Inventors Protection Act word for word since you post it all over different forums and have wrote articles about Inventor Submission Companys. If you think the Company's that wanted to help John for MONEY have any recoarse against him it pretty much proves you dont understand the rules of the Protection Act.

Once the Company's sent John the contract to sign they need to give there success rate.....That wasnt done by any of them. Chris Hawker from Trident Design was the only one that stepped up to the plate and didnt throw a curve ball to the Inventor......

If another Inventor invented an Edible Pair of Sneaker's out of Fruit RollUps and the lace eyelets dissolved in your mouth not the shoes or your hands and tasted like M&M'S ,Would it be ok for A,B,C or D, Inventor Submission Companys to tell the Inventor they have a good idea with their sneakers.Then they send the Inventor a contract to sign asking for money. Do they need to supply their success rate with the contract. Keep in mind once they send the contract their asking the inventor to sign a legal document.

At that point wouldnt the American Inventors Protection Act FEDERAL RULES kick in? Since you love to recite the act and rules this should be an easy question for you to answer. If your alittle rusty remembering how the act reads Google it then come back and answer.

Look at what these companies are REQUIRED to share with you (IN WRITING) BEFORE you spend money with them. If they change the subject or try and not give you what is REQUIRED by LAW, WHY WOULD YOU USE THEM? It’s YOUR money you are wasting by not doing a little research.

The AIPA requires invention promoters (i.e., those who provide “invention promotion services”) to disclose a number of things in writing, prior to entering into a contract for invention promotion services. These are:
(1) the total number of inventions evaluated by the invention promoter for commercial potential in the past 5 years, as well as the number of those inventions that received positive evaluations, and the number of those inventions that received negative evaluations;
(2) the total number of customers who have contracted with the invention promoter in the past 5 years, not including customers who have purchased trade show services, research, advertising, or other nonmarketing services from the invention promoter, or who have defaulted in their payment to the invention promoter;

Tampa Inventor Association Gets The REAL Scoop on COMMAN Mark Reyland

This week Nancy Tedeshi inventor of the SnapitScrew talked at the Tampa inventors Association meeting. After the event she sat and talked to the president of the club. He said she should hook up with Mark Reyland he is all about helping inventors and she said oh yeah, what did he invent and the president replied, he was our guest speaker and he invented  a lot of products but they are TOP SECRET because he worked in the military for 14 years. Nancy went on to explain the set up of the UIA and exposed them and Mark Reyland for what they are. SMOKE & MIRRORS!

Maybe we should all claim top levels of success and then back it up with the words, "but I can't tell you cause it's top secret!"

We all know Reyland thinks he’s SUPERMAN, it’s too bad the only ones that believe it is Reyland and his Naive Inventors that follow him.

Inventors PLEASE do your Homework on this Conman. Remember Bernie Madoff was a well respected man in the Investor Industry. Bernie ended up in the slammer leaving most of his Investors Friends and Clients holding the empty bag.!

The United Inventors Association Helps Inventors Lose IP Rights ! BEWARE

After much reading where Mark Reyland of the United Inventors Association (UIA) publicly slams any crowd sourcing invention company as well as Edison Nation, we couldn’t believe our eyes when we saw him supporting and heavily promoting a start up of people who don’t appear to have a clue what they’re doing. Another crowd sourcing site called Fundageek.

We’d name the many he bashes but we rather not have them tied to his name and be subject to more Reyland stupidity.

Is this why Warren Tuttle, of Monashee Marketing, allows Mark Reyland to continue bashing companies who do the exact same thing as Fundageek? Did Warren, Mark and Roger Brown have these plans all along? Or is it more how that British website, A better Mousetrap, writes, the UIA is only Mark Reyland and nobody else?

We can`t help but think Reyland had his conman hands in this company as it started up. Seeing the Fundageek crew appear extremely green and claim they have much work to do to perfect their company, what better way to get his dirty hands in the company’s pocket?

Does Mark Reyland assure the Fundageek people as long as they stick with allowing the UIA (Mark)to speak for them, he won`t attack them publicly?

When asked what Mark Reyland (UIA) contributed to better Fundageek, one of the owners couldn`t answer the question. Was he told by Reyland NOT to answer? Probably.

Our guess is Mark Reyland approached them. It`s no secret Reyland wanted Edison Nation to hire him to review inventions, but they didn`t want him. He then reportedly slammed them by spending 80 plus hours a week trying to destroy them.

It`s no secret Mark Reyland has been approaching companies upon companies wanting them to hire him to review invention submissions also with zero luck. When he heard him judging a contest he looked so inexperienced and clearly had no idea what he was talking about. Remember, he doesn’t have any experience in actually inventing things. As Warren Tuttle put it, Reyland wasn’t hired for his experience; he was hired for his passion. WHAT? He was then told to change his UIA bio although it’s still BS.

What better way to view all the invention submissions than to find a green company, dazzle them with BS, like he did the board members of the UIA.

It looks like Mark Reyland has his hands in the pockets of inventors once again by teaming up with Fundageek. Are we surprised? absolutely not. The only surprising thing is Warren Tuttle not caring as long as Mark brings in business. The good news is inventors are getting smarter by the day and staying clear of Reyland and anything he`s involved in- sorry Fundageek.

How does Reyland claim Fundageek is So different from others? Wait for it...because they have it written on the site that publicly disclosing your invention COULD cause you to lose patent protection. Well wouldn’t Mr. Reyland just LOVE that considering we’ve seen documentation showing he’s an IP thief.

Let’s give an example here: If, like Reyland explains for inventors to do, you go and make a video to show your invention and ask for a little money to apply for protection (insert buzzer sound) TOO LATE! You just exposed your invention announcing you NEED protection and if someone like Mr. Reyland decided he wanted to now run out and protect it in his own name...totally legal J not ethical, but we all know Reyland has no idea what ethical means. The really ballsy part is Reyland acting as the protector of inventors, bashing other companies who do what Fundageek does, only better, while being of the UIA and explaining to inventors how to publicly disclose their invention and ask for protection money! HUH?!

It never takes anyone very long to realize they know more than Reyland and we’re sure Fundageek will be no different. Anyone can read how to be successful and recite it to others, but only a few can claim it from experience. Reyland has a library of books ;-)

Better make sure you do exactly as he says or you’ll be added to the stalking list of his. We’re watching it grow!

Does Conman Reyland Have a Conman Friend?

We have to say these inventors are sharp and know their stuff. It's not about venting, or beating a dead horse. It's about making the inventing industry a little safer for new inventors coming in. Seasoned inventors won't fall for these guys but it's not seasoned inventors we're all worried about. Why expose Reyland and his dirty little friends? Because it's what we all should be doing, looking out for one another and making the statement...not in MY community! Good job guys!

HUTTON JOVAN PULITZER SCAM { B U S T E D !!!! }

Well I thought something was up. It was funny that someone would suddenly appear saying why they joined the group, instead of just joining. I also found it odd that our new 4 members were Roger Brown { which I'm not saying had anything to do with it } and Hutton from Texas and the other 2 from Texas. Then he post how wonderful he is at inventing. Then he targets my discussions. Well you all have been scammed by Mark Reyland, why Mark. The like on his comment was from Texas, Hutton is from Texas, and Hutton's message was STOP THE PUKE. Clearly to disrupt the BBQ. And as I commented, I knew sooner than later he would provoke me in to a confirmation about it. Add it all up and you know how Tania feels now. Carolyn This is the leader of your UIA, how do you feel now. Brian, Luminita, you were almost scammed by him. Google him under scams with his name and you will see a long list to view. Can I prove it was Mark that put him up to this, NO, but it is more likely than not. Also Troy did some research, I will let him have the honors of telling you what he found. This is why I do this, scams, to protect you and me. I agree that this back and fourth name calling is bull, but its necessary to expose these scams for what they are. Now that this guy got in , Im going to make the group private. I will google everyone from this point on. Come on Mark do you think that I'm that stupid. Admit it, it stings just a little !!!




J. Jovan Philyaw reinvents himself again

A few years ago, we told you about Dallas' own Music Man, J. Jovan Philyaw ("Goodbye Kitty," June 6, 2001), the man behind the CueCat, Net Talk Live!, Tripledge Wipers and other testaments to his con-artistry. Now, Jovan has reinvented himself again--and this time, Buzz must say, he's really outdone himself, in the same entertainingly psycho way that Iraqi Information Minister Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf outdoes himself with each new press conference. ("There are no tanks. Oh, those tanks, the ones behind me? We have those tanks surrounded.")

Jovan is no longer Jovan. Now he's J. Hutton Pulitzer. Does Mr. Pulitzer have anything to do with the recently announced Pulitzer Prizes? No. What does Mr. Pulitzer do? Not sure. Read his Web site (www.jhuttonpulitzer.com) and see if you can figure it out. When Dmagazine tried to find out, mean ol' JHP just swore at the mag.

Buzz, however, is confident that there are two things we know for sure about JHP. First, we know that he's selling his crystals. What crystals, you ask? The ones that make up the "Pulitzer Collection" (www.pulitzercollection.com)--a.k.a., a coupla hunks of mineral that used to adorn his offices at Digital Convergence Corp., the company that brought you the CueCat and helped send its primary investor, The Dallas Morning News, into a PR nightmare.

The second thing we know about JHP is why he's selling these objects of "powerful spiritual significance," as he puts it. That's because even though, according to his Web site, the Pulitzer Collection "represents Gods' [sic] devine [double sic] communication of Himself and beauty to humanity," the Lord ain't been so good to Jovan's pocketbook lately. For example, Digital Convergence last year filed for Chapter 7 protection from creditors, meaning DCC's remaining assets could be liquidated to pay the bills.

Apparently shielded from that secular action were these magnificent crystals, which were created when "70 million years ago, God touched the earth," JHP notes. (Odd, since you'd think God would have done so when the earth was created some 4.6 billion years ago, but, hey, Buzz ain't no theologian.) If you would like to purchase the Pulitzer Collection--to channel its incredible huckster power, to ward off gargoyles, to simply use as a paperweight--you can do so on the Web site. Buzz opens the bidding at $37.5 million...oh, wait, that's how much CueCat cost the Morning News. Oh, dear. Now Buzz is confused.

You change your name. Philyaw, the masterful pitchman between the CueCat, a cutely named handheld barcode scanner that was supposed to bridge print media and the Web, apparently now does business under the name J. Hutton Pulitzer -- or the one-word moniker "Jovan." Operating J. Hutton Pulitzer and Co. out of Dallas, the inventor of what has been decried as "one of the most ridiculed products of the Internet era," now specializes in the "development of unique intellectual property." Such as? Bottled rainwater. Crystals. And a forthcoming book entitled Generational Curses. Will Jovan be foiled again? Only time will tell.

I’m not really sure what to say about your findings. All I can say is if you go to freepatentsonline.com and do a patent applications search on (J. Hutton Pulitzer) you will find there are 48 "Published" applications. 46 out of 48 were published in 2006; the other 2 were in 2007.

I looked at all of them then decided to search “patents only” and didn’t find any that were issued. So I decided I need to go check a few of the applications in the USPTO Patent Pair files. After checking out 4 to 5 I decided there was something very wrong because everyone of the applications I looked at indicated the published applications went abandoned due to “Failure to respond to office actions” to the USPTO.

After checking out all 48 applications all of them had been abandoned due to not responding to office actions to the USPTO. What that means John is there are NO patents that were issued to J, Hutton Pulitzer that are tied to the 48 apps.

I also found it strange in the USPTO Pair “File Wrapper” there was files that shown Notification of withdrawal of Attorney (Power of Attorney) was transferred back to J.Hutton Pulitzer with 2 different TEXAS addresses in all the apps. One in Frisco and the other in Addison Texas There were files indicating a change of address also, and then when the USPTO mailed the abandoned letter to Hutton it was returned to the USPTO Undelivered.

Searching Jeffry Jovan Philyaw patents or applications will produce some in his name alone. Some will show David Kent Mathews from Carrollton, TX as co-inventor also. With the Assignee listed as Digital Convergence Corporation in Dallas Texas.

(If) the Hutton person you’re confronting is the same person as the applications I located then yes there is a problem with his identity and claims.

We agree. Other than Troy's insinuation that Roger was looking for a position in the UIA, we have not seen any accusations made by him against Roger. We also insinuated the same thing. Guess Roger Brown really wants everyone to understand he does not want to be part of the UIA. We don't blame him really.
